Artificial rockwork is the fastest growth
industry we have ever encountered.
Origin Of Artificial Rock Projects
In the early 1980’s we were commissioned to supply
equipment and supervise a major theme works in the Gold
Coast, Australia – Dreamworld project. This involved
some 5000square metres of “rock” surface and
included – a 20 metre high volcano – water
slides – caveman and cavewoman (toilets) –
random rocks and rock features – swimming pool surrounds
etc.
From this original development, practically every upmarket
tourist hotel, resort etc in the Gold Coast tourist area
featured artificial rock to varying degrees.
With the passage of time we witnessed the evolution
of this new industry to the point that an ever increasing
number of domestic swimming pools have artificial rock
features – water falls – planter boxes, to
whatever theme the homeowner imagines.
With the expertise gained within Australia our clients
have taken on contracts overseas – Middle East –
South East Asia etc.
One project alone in Macau, has had five of our rigs
working on a theme park for ten months as at December
2004. We will hopefully soon be able to illustrate this
project on the web as also to enable linking to our clients
website.
Upon request we can supply as much information as available.
The only limit is the imagination. This is for you if
you are artistic and therefore have a good imagination.
The best results we have seen so far was in the hands
of a beret wearing, piggy tailed “artist”
doing movie set work using a Condor spray gun for the
first time ever.
