There has over the years been many and varied procedures and processes employed on Low Cost Housing production.

LOW COST HOUSING - A MODERN APPROACH

By combining the highly productive features of shotcreting machines and roll forming machines it is mow possible to achieve very high output with relatively unskilled operators.

1. Site mixing, pumping and spraying on site using local raw materials is now quite practical and reliable in the hands of unskilled operators and very cost effective.
   
2. Roll-forming equipment has evolved to the point where unattended operation is realistic and mostly the norm.
   

COMBINING BENEFITS - AN OVERVIEW

• Loosely applied hessian to roll-formed frames when coated with about 3-5mm of shotcrete, goes into tension – resulting in a perfectly straight panel.
  
• Further coats of shotcrete enable the building to any desired design strength.
  
• Fibres and/or mesh enhance the compressive or flexural strengths in and outside of covered frame, and if design requirements dictate it is a simple matter to fill the void with foamed concrete. (Fire resistance – acoustic benefits etc)
